Our Bookshelf

This comprehensive collection of maritime literature provides essential insights into the legal frameworks, safety protocols, and security measures that govern the global shipping industry. Covering international conventions, national regulations, and industry best practices, these books serve as vital resources for maritime professionals, regulators, and students.

We are actively commissioning books in:

  • Maritime Regulations: in-depth analysis of international treaties such as SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea), MARPOL (Marine Pollution), STCW (Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping), and ISPS (International Ship and Port Facility Security). We are commissioning texts that explore compliance requirements, regulatory bodies (IMO, IMO conventions), and the evolving legal landscape affecting maritime operations.

  • Safety Management: guidance on shipboard safety procedures, risk assessment, emergency response, and accident prevention. We are looking for titles which place emphasis on the implementation of safety management systems (SMS) aligned with IMO standards, ensuring safe navigation, cargo handling, and crew welfare.

  • Security Measures: detailed discussion on maritime security threats, including piracy, terrorism, and illegal activities. We are looking for books which discuss security protocols, response strategies, and the application of the ISPS Code to safeguard vessels, ports, and maritime infrastructure.

  • Emerging Trends and Challenges: coverage of recent developments such as cyber security, environmental protection, and technological innovations that influence maritime safety and security.
